Just checked, you have been playing a very strange engine because many
parameters are not initialized properly. More: the lack of a personality doesn't
hurt Rebel (DOS) as it has an build-in function to create a new one with the
default settings automatically, something the Windows version is lacking. I will
put the issue on my to-do list.

My best guess is that your good results with this mistery engine so far is a
matter of coincidence, I don't believe in bugs that produce a better engine,
nevertheless I trust you for a healthy dose of stubbornness and try after all :)
