I do not think that it is what most humans need to get better in chess.


look at the following game from the women olympiad

Black missed a simple fork
White later missed a mate in 1 or found the only move that lose because of mate
in 1 and there were more mistakes(for example black could win a piece by b5 Bb3
c4 instead of trading bishops).

I do not think that positional explanations is very important for these players.
They need to be stronger in tactics.

Usually countries send good players to the olympiad and when japan and virgin
island do not do it for some reason you can see the result.
