Have not tried as Winboard but I managed to crash it as UCI! :-) To prevent this "special" crash do not lock the pos.lrn and book.lrn file manualy. The engine will crash at the end of a game. (Which was of course my fault!) Therefore the engine is using the new "ucinewgame" command to learn but is not supporting the new "refutation" command. If you treat the engine as it should be it seems to work flawlessly! :-) Bye Ingo PS: Why should anyone want to install it as a WB-engine in Arena?
