I downloaded and installed the 45-day free trial of Microsoft's "Virtual PC" and then created a Virtual Windows 98 machine on my PC. I installed CM4000 on that. Worked perfectly. That's why, however, I say it's an impractical solution, as "Virtual PC" runs around $100 or so.
