I remember that Dieter said that it took him few hours to implement tablebases based on an old post of Heiner in CCC. The problem is that I still do not have a design what to do in implementing the nalimov tablebases. I did not nothing in coding and I dislike to start coding it before having a complete design of the steps that I need to do and the problem is that I do not feel sure about what to do(I can try to guess and maybe this is the way that Dieter used) but I do not like to guess things that I am not sure about when I may get stuck with code that does not work. I already asked in the winboard forum about it but did not get a response.
