I will have enough to do on "game day" during the tournament than to pair manaully just to try to screw someone over. Of course I plan on being objective. >Note that i have more TD experiences than you might guess, but i'm not having >ambitions to lead a tournament at icc; i'm involved in enough events already >anda problem of being TD is that you are supposed to show up, which will be >rather hard for me this time if the tournament is a few days before or during >IPCCC2005 tournament where i will be physical present :) And I 100% sure you have more TD experience. Well I think the only fair way of doing the seeding based on I have no real ranking list which to go by is to do the following: 1. A program's results in the last 3 CCT's will be averaged and seeded accordingly. 2. In the event that two programs average out to the same seeding, the program that has participated the longest in the CCT series will earn the spot. 3. In the event that both programs have been entered since CCT1, their placing in CCT1 will determine the spot for CCT7. That is the best, and fairest way of doing it. It also may not be the most accurate. If you have a better suggestion, I am more than willing to hear it. Peter
