I mentioned 50+3 as it is more or less equivalent with 45+10 in the average duration of a game. I guess that the length of the rounds should be more or less the same and a shorter increment would make planning of the rounds a bit easier. With more common time controls like 60+5 you'll have close to 2.5 hour rounds instead of the 2 hour rounds we have now. Richard.
