Subject: Moderators have to know how to moderate - LEGAL PROBLEMS

Author: Micheal Cummings

Date: 01:11:43 01/20/99

I refer to a reply post by a moderator about cheating on ICC, He stated that he
had identified a cheater and thus saw fit to name him or his account.

Now we all know how hard it is to find cheats on ICC and then prove they are.

But my point is calling this person a cheater is wrong, and could bring legal
action from that person, just let assume that he is not a cheat, and at this
stage we can only ussume that.

You cannot make a statement on someone on an assumption.

My point is that this moderator I think has committed a big error that could
bring legal ramifications.

This has to be fixed now, we cannot have moderators commiting crimes.

This is not a serious CCC matter, I know if someone called me a cheat, I would
take legal action right away.
