This game left an impression on me as being in that category of brilliant and memorable. Like a memorable event in a sports contest that people remember and talk about years later. The notion that it is somehow flawed because a better defense is available doesn't detract from its beauty. What great game from chess history was won against flawless defense? It is a daring, swashbuckling victory that attracted me to chess so many years ago.
