In fact that version had logging so you should use it (UCI options). GUI log file is fine too but I don't want any GUI output, as some have their own bugs (no names given). Otherwise: launch it in a console, preferably with redirection e.g. "fruit > log.txt"; type "position fen <FEN>", then "go infinite". Fabien.
