OK, then. You will use Winboard with rcmd.exe and the rcmd server. You get rcmd in the Win32 resource kit for your box. For instance: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/archive/winntas/support/y2knt4rk.mspx This seems to be a link to just the rcmd: http://www.dynawell.com/reskit/microsoft/win2000/rcmd.zip Anyway, these are the command line options that you use: /rsh or /remoteShell shellname Name of the command used to run programs remotely. If this option is not given, WinBoard uses its own built-in implementation of the Unix rcmd protocol (the protocol used by rsh). You could also connect both machines to a FICS host and play against each other that way. Lots of other ways too, I imagine.
