I am sure that you will get a wide range of opinion, so here is mine - yes there are some bugs. Do they make the program difficult to use, or impossible? No. So unless you are trying to teach ChessBase a lesson by holding off, getting it is well worth the investment. I am sure that they will issuing fixes soon - probably as soon as they fix the Junior 9 GUI problems which impact the entire family. That being said, that does not mean buy it without considering your options. Chess Assistant 8 is available and from what I hear, very good. I only have CA 7.1, so cannot comment on the upgrade. I think you speak for many when you say you are impatient for some updates.
