Actually, I was being somewhat facetious. Casinos have frequency scanners and
other more sophisticated equipment to prevent cheats from using radios and
computers when playing games such as blackjack (or at least the larger casinos
do).

However, in blackjack, you would need a camera as Robert indicated in another
post since you could not transmit the data quickly enough otherwise. Yes, I've
read about the guy who did it in his shoe, but again, he was transmitting every
half second or so.

In chess though, it is a very limited amount of data and you could burst
transmit it (as per my other message). If I was trying to cheat at chess in a
casino (such as some of the events in Las Vegas), I would use every technique
that I could think of to prevent them from detecting me and I would probably be
successful since they are not setup to detect such small amounts of data.

In this scenario, the only way a casino would detect you is if they somehow
detected that you had electronic equipment on your person and even if they had
equipment of this level of sophistication, it would probably only be running
within the casino itself and not within the conference rooms.

But who can say? Those casino guys are pretty tricky.
