Hello, I woke up this morning and had a huge amount of emails in support of continuing the event, which I _am_ doing. When writing my message last night I was extremely upset and angry. I decided to sleep on it, and with a clear head make the best decision. I also received many emails asking which author had sent me such an email. I want to make it clear right now it was _not_ Vincent Diepeveen. Although Vincent and I have had our problems in the past, I offered an apology to him with wishes to "bury the hatchet" and move forward right here on this very board. While the post was not replied to, I hope he read it. In any event, I would like to believe that Vincent would not let our personal differences stop him from entering the tournament. I know he is above this type of behaviour, and would put chess before personal disagreements. Peter CCT7 TD
