I did try my best, and even with the Fafis controversy I think it turned out to be a great event. I am pretty proud of it, yet at the same time I believe I can improve on a number of things if given the chance again. In fact I have already started thinking of ways to get as many participants as possible next time. If I had my way, the CCT would have been published in every chess magazine in the world and on every possible website. Linares and Corus are for humans, and I _know_ the CCT will be one day. Exposure and participation will be the ultimate goals for me if I get to TD the event again. Exposure in advertising, and in getting participation were something I feel I could have strongly improved on. There was not much I could do with commercial programs. The IPCCC was simply to close to our event, and I completely understand them wanting to prepare for it. I did email every single commercial product that I could, and all replied with the same response. I know I can get the CCT to over 80 participants, and with _all_ the commericials there. >p.s. and, yes, I voted for you.... :-) You better have.. you should have the cheque I sent by now :) Peter
