There are some impressive-looking results to be found on the Web (mainly in the UCI Engines Ligue), but these are caused by too fast time controls. At your time control, you can easily find a dozen free engines which are clearly stronger than Glaurung, but are not included in your tournament. With some generousity, Glaurung can perhaps be considered as one of the best _open source_ engines. It is likely to improve in the future, though. Tord
