Now this is one that I really have no intention of ever >purchasing. That can't be said of too many, as I am discovering. > >Of course, the value only comes into play if you plan on selling it someday. believe you me Dick,if you continue with your collecting sooner or later you will want the CCI every collector wants the very first chess computer ever made of course if your goal is not to start a collection but just buy computers that interest you then the CCI is easily passed by i will make another suggestion to you.. try not to buy computers without the original box and pieces and manuals if you continue collecting you will regret it later that you don't have the complete set for a computer this happened to me when i first started on Ebay i bought anything i was searching for that moved box,no box..manual no manual then after awhile another would pop up on ebay with a complete set and i would wind up buying it again this is partly the reason for my extensive doubles list take that Elite A/S for example no original box and no original carton for the pieces perhaps a small thing to you now,but if you continue buying more,it will matter later also it might be of interest to try to find out which A/S this is Fidelity released several with different programs and varying clock speeds Best Steve
