Hiarcs wasn't in CCT7 because you're preparing the next version. At no time was
the excuse offered that you were preparing for IPCCC.

Whether program X beats program Y is meaningless. It happens all the time. If
these authors honestly think that a loss to Crafty or Zappa would kill their
sales, then they _should_ stay home. It is very possible it would happen.

The gap between commercial strength programs and amateurs is shrinking, and
shrinking fast.

With the latest releases of Fritz and Chess Tiger is a easy to see they are not
making incredible head way, if any.... while all the amateurs are, and quickly.
