I've found another area of re-work needed; I have to move a big chunk of code from the interpreter into the Lisp source. This is required to allow various values associated with each (potential) descendent of a node to appear in an IDB Move pattern instance AND be contingently calculated (as needed) and NOT to appear in more than one place (otherwise the mutual synchronization becomes too complex). This will make things clearer and hopefully not much slower. Give me a week or so for the next report.
