I would go with the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro/XT 128MB card. It is rock solid, a great
performer, and doesn't need an additional power connector like the 9800 and so
on.

It is cheap considering the performance, and is what I used before. I now have
an X800 since I play games that need the big card.

If you are _not_ a serious gamer, do not buy any card that requires an
additional connector for power.

These are the 3 cards I would recommend:

ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128mb card
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128mb card
NVidia Geforce FX 5700 128mb card

(The only difference between the 9600 PRo and the XT is the clock speed. The XT
is slightly higher but if you can get it for the same price as the 9600 PRO, go
for it.)
