Very neat. I hope to upgrade my poor PII333 next weekend and get an Athlon 64. I've been looking at what I can do with SIMD in my chess program. Maybe you can help me figure something out: how can I parallelize table lookups? If I have a 64bit vector containing 8 8bit offsets into a table, is it possible to quickly obtain a vector containing the values at those offsets? regards, Dan Pineo
