Subject: Mephisto London 68030 beats Shredder 8!!

Author: Clive Munro

Date: 09:14:56 04/01/05

Ok ok not all was quite even.
Shredder 8 was playing on a Pentium II 400MHz with 1MB of ram as hash, with
opening book off and ponder off.
Shredder was also playing game in 2mins the London was playing game in 90.
Even with this time difference Shredder was still able to look 9-10 ply in the
mid game where as the London could only manage 6-7ply.
The game was far from "boring" and the London out played Shredder.
