I would be careful with you statement, "hiarcs7 is god!!!!!", it is going a
little overboard. As for CM 6000 being "stronger than most of the commercial
player especially in tactical games!! is also an overstatement. I have CM 6000
and I have played against Fritz 5, and I don't think that CM 6000 is tactical
stronger than Fritz 5, IMHO I would say that Fritz 5 is better than CM 6000 in
"tactical games". Of course, this depends how you interpret it, or better, what
is your perception of "tactical game" to be. All top chess engines are good at
solving chess tactical problems, some may solve faster than others, yet given
enough time, they all can solve. The key is to get to the winning position in
which the chess engine is able to find and play the combination. Quoting
Spielmann about Alekhine, "I can comprehend Alekhine's combinations well enough,
but where he gets his attacking chances from and how he infuses life into the
very opening - that is beyond me."
Not all chess engines see and give the same evaluation to the same chess
position. Some engines are very strong in open positions (no center pawns),
others good in semi-open games, and others in semi-closed games. I won't go in
detail of what engines play well in what type of positions, perhaps this is a
good little exercise for you to research.
