But there is much more expense when buying in Israel (where I live), and I would like to know if any of the educated Israelis here might know where these huge extra expenses come from. Amir? Omid? Uri? and a few others? It can't be postage either. And Israel isn't such a backward country which doesn't know how to import things properly. And in today's modern world, WHY SHOULD THIS BE? Who are they trying to fool? [e.g. A normal though good 1.7 Ghz. Intel Centrino Dothan note-book computer, with a few nice features, (like 60 GB hard disk, double CD/DVD burner etc) costs almost $2000]. S.Taylor
