I believe this is the "kludge first-cut chip"...  32 bits internally, 64 bits
externally, which means that 64 bit instructions get executed in pieces
internally.  We ran on one a while back and it was a dog.  But it does provide a
platform for X86-64 program development while one waits on the real 64 bit intel
X86-64 processors to hit the street...

Opteron smokes them at present.
