The question was

"how much stronger would be Rebel on a today's top PC"?

PIV is not one of today's top PC so it is not relevant.

If you compare A3000(that is 2000Mhz) with PIII 500 mhz you will find that
the A3000 is clearly more than 4 times faster.

I found that My A3000(2000 mhz) 3 times faster than A1000(1000 mhz) for Movei
inspite of the fact that you could expect it to be only twice faster based on
the mhz.
