Hello all, I wrote here about my testing some of the Nolot positions with special Pro Deo settings a couple of days back, http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?426623 and at the time Nolot #3 seemed not "solvable" in a short amount of time by the special tactical settings. I almost gave up on finding a solution with Pro Deo 1.1 - tactical settings. It seems however that in these settings like Pro Deo 1.1 Vulcan Q1, in which, among other things, I simply put all material values at 90% so all the positional values are enlarged in comparison, the use I made of [My Queen = 101] is not entirely correct. I assumed that it would put the value of the own queen at about 91, but for that this parameter probably cannot be used in this way. However, I finally did manage to find a setting that in spite of this faulty use solved Nolot #3 in about 25 minutes! When I disable [My Queen = 101] in Pro deo 1.1 Vulcan Q1d6f, Nolot #3 gets solved a lot quicker, already within 3½ minutes! This was done about 40 versions later... I'm not very sure about the lines at 17 and 18 ply, where Black gives back a queen directly and even adds a Knight in the 17 ply PV...
