Thats correct.. you read that title right yours truly decided to play a 5 min Blitz game this evening against his honor ..the Resurrection i took White and jumped at the opportunity to essay forth my favorite..Trompowsky Friday Night At The Blitz [Date "6-3-2005"] [White "Steve B"] [Black "Resurrection-2.02"] [Result "1-0"] 5 Minute Blitz.. 1. d4 Nf6 2. Bg5 c5 3. d5 Ne4 4. Bf4 d6 5. Nc3 [D] rnbqkb1r/pp2pppp/3p4/2pP4/4nB2/2N5/PPP1PPPP/R2QKBNR w KQkq - 0 1 at this point the Res is out of book Nxc3 6. bxc3 e5 7. dxe6 Bxe6 8. Nf3 Qa5 [D] rn2kb1r/pp3ppp/3pb3/q1p5/5B2/2P2N2/P1P1PPPP/R2QKB1R w KQkq - 0 1 i really didn't believe the Res would try such a cheapo swindle on my rook pawn so i calmly played.. 9. Bd2 Bxa2 ??? [D] rn2kb1r/pp3ppp/3p4/q1p5/8/2P2N2/b1PBPPPP/R2QKB1R w KQkq - 0 1 not believing my eyes ..and with my hand barely able to steady itself. i played 10. Qc1 the Resurrections evaluation swung from +1.14 to -2.41 in the blink of an eye My god how i love when that happens.. play continued with.. Be7 11. Qb2 [D] rn2k2r/pp2bppp/3p4/q1p5/8/2P2N2/bQPBPPPP/R3KB1R w KQkq - 0 1 I am up the bishop for the pawn i went on to win in another 50 moves or so ....the game score of which is to ugly to repeat here to be fair to the Res ..at game 10 min and even at 15 sec a move(the default level) Res sees the blunder and plays ..9Nc6 instead but hey..a wins a friggin win..i always say...
