I'd suggest leaving it at home. I've found the hospital staff are overly apprehensive about non-hospital electronic gear, fearing radio frequency interference from substandard consumer grade products. Also, I doubt if they'll supply Internet connectivity. When I'm in their clutches for testing and treatment, I bring only a spiral bound (paper) notebook and a pen to jot down my ideas. And I need new batteries for my Mac laptops anyway. I recall that a number of CCC posters have a wager with me to supply said batteries if and when Symbolic passes certain milestones. This could happen by the end of the year if I'm lucky.
