Fabien is one of the most logical and creative programmers of recent times, he is very much an exception to the rule and most in here know it. He has almost overcome the unfair advantage. So long as we see an orange or banana flavoured Movei good, not a Fruit called Movei. Implemetation and interpretation of ideas is fine, copying code is not. I am not anyone's judge (although stranger things have happened and may well happen). It is down to the programmers to be police themselves. As for Chessbase GUI helping Chessbase format engines...... Well it smells......it smells real bad...... In fact it stinks to high heaven. Christopher
