But it is an advantage never the less. A spade is a spade.

I think, in fact I know, that the Chessbase GUI should be banned from being used
by any engine in the forthcoming WCCC 2005.

Somewhat strange considering they are the sponsors......either that or it is
exceptionally devious.

If it is allowed based on the fact that we know that the engines are not "chess
engines" in that they do not understand the rules, then it is corrupt and the
results are meaningless.

Either that or show the format to everyone so that they too can make a "chess
engine" for the Chessbase GUI that does not understand the rules as well.

This as it stands, is not a level playing field.

All must realise this.
