Subject: Fruit on Mac OS X

Hi all,

I remember George telling me he used GCC 4.0 to compile Fruit 2.1 on Mac OS X.
I read yesterday in a magazine that such binaries need Mac OS X version 10.3.9
(I don't remember exactly) or later in order to run.

This would explain why the binary does not work on 10.2.x, wouldn't it? In fact
I also read Tiger came up with an (additional to GCC 4.0) older version of GCC
(3.3 I think), probably for this very reason.

Can anybody build a binary using an older version of GCC and send it to Jef for
testing?

Thanks,

Fabien.
