ES vs. EU Blitz Tourney, Round 1. Round one is complete! Things look bleak for the ES. Crafty - ZChess 3.5 - 0.5 LambChop - Phalanx 2 - 2 EXchess - LGoliath 0 - 4 SSEChess - TCB 0 - 4 Arasan - Comet 0.5 - 3.5 ------------------------------- Total 6 - 14 Round Reports: EXchess and SSEchess had disasters, as neither came close to winning one game. In game 2, Arasan had a completely won ending against Comet, but threw it away with some very stupid moves. It did, however, extract a one draw in game 4. LambChop performed well, crushing Phalanx games 3 and 4. ZChess never did quite get the upper hand against Crafty, although in the game 4 It had it's opponent in a very tight spot right out of the book. Crafty eventually broke through, and ZChess had to scramble for perpetual check.
