It would be nice to have both clubs CCC and Winboard open in such a way that
they would be indexed by google, but it seems to be common to restrict access to
registered users on many web forums. Any complaint you have about the Winboard
forum being restricted applies to many other forums.

As I pointed out, any one with any interest in the Winboard forum can register
an account and browse the site within minutes. I didn't have any problems with
turnaround time. If you don't like these restricted forums, then you can try to
revive the newsgroups.

I used to look at the Winboard forum before it was closed, but hadn't looked
into it for a while due to time constraints. When I looked today I noticed
Fabian giving a brief explanation of some data structures in Fruit 2.1 (?) to
Uri. (Somebody in this thread complained that all of the postings there are
related to tournaments.)
