Hi All! Fabien Letouzeys great engine Fruit 2.1 is now available as an engine for the shareware Pocket PC chessprogram PocketGrandmaster. To install it on your Pocket PC, first download PocketGrandmaster http://www.pocketgrandmaster.com/english/PocketGrandmaster_StrongARM.exe and the Fruit-package (engine Fruit.pge, readme.txt, copying.txt, sourcecode) http://www.pocketgrandmaster.com/english/FruitPGM.zip Now install PocketGrandmaster (see http://www.pocketgrandmaster.com/english/install.html), unzip FruitPGM_package.zip and copy Fruit.pge to the PocketGrandmaster-folder on your Pocket PC (usually \Programs\PocketGrandmaster\). You can then start PocketGrandmaster and select Fruit as the engine in the "Options - Engine"-dialog. Some notes: - Fruit requires Pocket PC 2003 or newer. It will not work on older Pocket PCs running Windows CE 3.0 and Pocket PC 2002. - Fruit can be tested with the unregistered version of PocketGrandmaster, but the unregistered version switches to the easiest level after 10 moves. - If you have questions regarding the installation or find any bugs, please contact info_at_pocketgrandmaster.com (replace the _at_). And finally: many thanks to Fabien for making Fruit open source and for his help with the Pocket PC version! Best, Fabien, Kai and Frank
