In 1993 I began trading fruits and vegetables to a Russian company located at St. Petersburg. The russian was a very kind guy and I send him a chess book ("Training chess" Koblenz) to be signed by Mark Taimanov, who was his neighbour. Some months later, the russian company became bankrupt (this was very usual in the former USSR at that time), and I didnt receive the payments for the 3-4 latest deliveries. I was resigned when, four months later, I received a money order from .. New York! (the total due amount) and the promised signed book with cheers from Mr. Taimanov. I have not ever know anymore about this russian knight.
