However, the part about paying too much is a difficult issue for any of us. What is too much for one person might not be for another. Certainly you have a much greater feel for the current value of these things than do I, or just about anybody else. However, who is to say how much a single example of one of these chess computers might be worth to each and every person? My intense desire to own a Phantom that had been building up for many years exploded when I overpaid for one several months ago. This was before I had any knowledge of what they were currently worth on the collectable market. However, at the time, to me, it was worth what I paid and much more. And it was worth that to at least one other person who was bidding on the item. Your knowledge of this stuff is second to none, in my opinion, but even more importantly to me and others here is your willingness to share this knowledge with anybody and everybody that asks.
