I just tried Herrmann 1.3.5 myself on my Linux box, and it plays FRC without problems. It works in both of the two FRC enabled XBoard versions, without doing any tricks. In XBoard-FRC (the one found on the AICE page), I start it like this: xboard-frc -fcp Hermann -fd /path/to/Hermann With XBoard-960, I do this: xboard-960 -fcp Hermann -fd /path/to/Hermann -variant fischerandom -lpf frc-fens.txt -lpi 100 Tord
