Hello Kurt,

If Fruit-Toga is good at dealing with short books (like 5-move book), it should
also be good at FRC (?)
There could be a hint if it is shown that Spike-Mainz does good at short books
also.
Anyway, the opening forms an important part of the game, so to neglect this
aspect and let engines play only from the (late) middlegame onwards is a bit of
a shame. (For testing purposes)
The endgame (technical aspect) is mostly already done by tablebases :/

Btw, my prelimanary tests show that Junior is a bit of a nuisance for Toga, more
so than Shredder. (Drawbook, moves cut off at move 10)

Plan to do a 90+30 nunn2 match between them... but actually like to wait 'till
Fruit WCCC is available.

As a PS. a question, Kurt.
What is your impression between the match Fruit 2.1-Shredder 9 at (very) long
time control Christian Koch was doing?

(I cut a nunn2 match short between the two at 90+30, after Shredder took a 8-1
lead... thought there was something wrong, until I watched the Christian match.)

Keep up the good work, Kurt!

Regards,
Rick
