Perhaps I am a dude, but I consider all that it is announced as interesting and
worth the money.
Of course I am not a pro, that is to say, I do care about gui's, extra services
and the rest. I am even capable of praising Chessmaster and Majestic Chess
instead of talkind disdainfully of "mass market" programs.
Strenght is for me something of no importance, no anymore at least. I am beated
anyway by 90's vitage engines. And I do not play engines Vs engines. Analyse my
games? For what? Those endeavours I consider to be sheer madness, but of course
anybody has the right to get his kick from anywhere. Mine, believe it or not, is
to play the engines in a nice, beautiful, friendly surrounding and not on a
piece of shit, on a monument to poor design, on a dead grey square with a menu
on top, on an ugly, uninmaginative gui, that kind of display that some people
seems to love so much.
Yes, I am an excentric, So I do want better gui's, trainning features, etc.
If F9 gives that to me, I am even capable of getting one at 50-60 bucks.
But I prefer dedicated units anyway.
