Hi Gerd

Not my idea.  I heard it from someone else and I can't give proper credit
because I don't remember who.  I don't even use it; I go 0 - 63, a1 - h8 just
like you do.  If I were starting anew I would use it, but I don't have Bob's
BSF/BSR problem so there is not that much incentive for me.
