Hi Alex,
Thanks for a good opening book you made for Fruit. I've made myself familiar
with it, however, I think it's a little bit cautious or even passive. Did you
make it that way on purpose? Of course, I don't know much about Fruit at this
point, but I think with his play technique it's able to play acuter or even more
speculative lines. Old-indian is okay, it likes spring-like positions but Caro
is too passive, don't you think? It's very reliable, of course, but leaves much
chance to counter-attack. I think, Fruit is strong enough to play sharper lines,
say, Polugaevsky Sicilian or even Sveshnikov Sicilian! In my tests against
Shredder 9UCI and Fritz8 Bilbao it was quite resourceful in them!
