I would suggest talking to some others who have done it. They can probably tell you what to watch out for. Also, they can give you good ideas as to what should and should not be in your contract. I would not worry about trying to please everybody. You will make some happy, some neutral, and some angry no matter what choice you make. Therefore, you should make the choice that pleases you the most.
