I agree with your assessment....

Here I agree as well. A creator should be free to create. Let the users sort
it all out. We are going to do so in our own way anyway...

This is where I take serious issue. Leo is a friend of mine and I have never
had occasion to ever question his integrity. I have observed with some distress
the "pressure" that some fans seem to be putting on yourself and I have even
written here about it.

I wish you all the best with Zappa, really I do. Leo has *always* bought his
programs - the commercial ones - as that saves him any possible conflict of
interest issues.

Trust me, Leo is not a pirate. You freely enter or leave his contest as you
like. he seeks no entrants. There are usually enough programs anyway...

I understand that the "Zappa this Zappa that" may get to you but take this from
someone who knows:

If Zappa were worthless crap then no-one would comment on it.

Just ask the authors of Tiger, Crafty, Junior and Ruffian to name four engines
most criticised/commented on in this forum.

It is a backhanded compliment if you think about it.

:-)

You have arrived sir. Welcome to the big leagues.

All the best to you and you future endeavours.

Just do not insult my friend is all I ask.

Later.
