Hi Sandro,

I have always been surprised that so few people try to improve shredder's play
through a specific tuning of its adjustable UCI parameters whereas so much has
been done for chessmaster or even Prodeo in this field.

A little question : you say that Columbus egg has a more risky, speculative
play.
I see that the more "radical" tuning you have done is to raise the "king safety"
parameter from 100 to 125. How can this result in a more risky play ?

Another point that surprises me is related to what Anthony said : I felt that
shredder's strength is mostly obvious in the quality of its "positional" play.
I would not have thought that letting him play in a more risky way could have
led to improved results against Fruit.

Thanks for sharing this : I will surely give it a try.

Regards

Marc
