Hi Leon

I think that grandmasters like all chess players generally have huge ego's and
are afraid to play the computers. I have asked many grandmasters on ICC if they
have ever played computers at long time controls. I have also asked what the
result of those games were and have not got a straight answer yet! I am sure
that like International master larry Kaufman they have all played private games
against the computers, and they know exactly how strong they are. Common sense
tells me, that if Kasparov who is the strongest chess player, plays computer and
even calls them "strong", than certainly most other grandmasters are using them
also. Yet none of these games are available for public consumption!, Why? We
rarely even get any public statements from grandmasters. Isn't it clear that
these grandmasters are simply protecting their own interest by remaining silent?
This would not be the first time in history where Men were threatened by
machines, because they felt that the machine would take their jobs!
