Really?  Does anyone really buy a chess program based on the position it
occupies in the SSDF rating?  That must mean that the potential buyers for (say)
Fritz 9, Hiarcs 10 and Shredder 10 are going to twiddle their thumbs for some
time.


Then it will be in time to buy the next version...


I cannot see why I need to wait on the SSDF.  In any event, what does it really
matter in the context of analysis etc?  We just want the latest stuff now.

And if it is not?  It will still be a champion program.  Nothing changes that.
