Can't you distuingish between an example and the general message?? I didn't say that in the majority of "crazy" positions one side is at least a rook up. It was only an example. Sometimes it will be +/- 2 or 3 only. Hopefully you will agree that to get pruned, at least one postion of that branch has to be evaluated first.. :) Anyway, as I have said (a long time user's practical) *experience* tells: more knowledge does NOT mean slower.
