I think that it may be dependent on the conditions.
It is possible to improve the level of humans by better conditions.

I suggest the following ideas to make games of humans against computers more
interesting

1)Allowing humans to use notes during the games(including notes that they wrote
before the game).
2)Allowing humans to use books that were written by humans during the games.

Changing the conditions to allow both 1 and 2 will still keep the game to be
humans against computers(humans use no computer help during the game) but may
help humans to play better.
