They are different in needs, required features, required strength, graphics levels, and last but not least, budget, i.e. price. It's not easy to serve both markets at once, and it makes more sense to concentrate on one and do a good job. As long as Chessbase try to sell to the professionals and enthusiasts, they had better do this right, and let people who don't have 50 Euro for a chess product and who don't care about what they're offering go somewhere else.
